How to Wake Your Tamagotchi

Tamagotchi is a keychain-sized electronic toy that features a digital pet you can feed, water, and groom. When you first open it, the Tamagotchi will be in sleep mode. Waking a Tamagotchi for the first time will require a few extra minutes to enter the current date and time. Once the data is saved, the pet will awaken on its own at that time every day.

Instructions

      Pull the plastic tab out of the side of the toy.

      Press the tip of a pointed object, such as a ballpoint pen, into the small opening on the back of the toy.

      Use the "B" button (the middle of the three buttons) to scroll through to the correct month, date, day, and time. Press the "A" button (the first button) to switch to the next category.

      Enter your birth date.

    • 5

      Press "A" and wait for about one minute. The Tamagotchi will wake up and reveal its color and gender.
