Things You'll Need
Instructions
Create the basic shape for your bendy toy with the flexible wire. If necessary, use pliers to shape the wire or just use your hands. The easiest shape for beginners is a stick figure person, with a circular head, a line for the body and lines of wire for the legs and arms. Leave one of the legs 8-inches longer than you want the finished product to be so that you have a handle to use when dipping the figure into the Plasti-Dip.
Fill in open spaces of your design (if desired) by hot-gluing tinfoil across these spaces. For a stick figure person, try cutting out a circle of tinfoil the same size as the figure's head, and hot glue to attach.
Open the Plasti-Dip and follow the instructions for submerging and coating your object. Typically, you will insert your object at a rate of 5 seconds for every inch, then remove the figure from the Plasti-Dip at the same rate. Let the object dry by hanging it with the excess wire left on one leg by the drying rack for 30 minutes. Re-dip into the Plasti-Dip after 30 minutes and let dry again.
Cut the excess wire off the figures foot after the second application of Plasti-Dip has been allowed to dry for a full 30 minutes. Dip this small end of the figure into the Plasti-Dip so that the toy has no pointy edges, and let the figure sit for four hours before playing with it.
