How to Work a Scalextric Digital System

The Scalextric Digital System provides for multicar slot racing with lane changing functions. Up to six cars can race on one digital circuit and multiple cars can race on any lane. Lanes can be switched to overtake and block. The digital system is compatible with existing Scalextric tracks and cars with some conversion. The digital cars can also race on older analog tracks. Cars and tracks can be converted simply, and cars are converted by just adding a new plug. Working a digital system involves learning the digital powerbase controller, including setting the car ID and setting modes.
