LEGO Castle Assault Wagon Instructions

Lego's Castle "Troll Assault Wagon" comes with several pieces. Online sites host the instructions for Lego assembly, though only in pictures. In order to assemble the assault wagon, you have to find each piece and line up the prongs correctly. The pieces for the assault wagon are light gray, dark gray, brown, black and various colors for flags. The assault wagon also has four leading characters: two knights, a troll warrior and big green troll monster.

Instructions

    • 1

Separate by color the pieces that come with the Troll Assault wagon pack into red, blue, yellow and gray groups. From here, separate the different size Legos, including short thin Legos and round pieces.

    • 2

Fit the Lego man pieces together for knights and troll warriors. The heads are yellow for the knights and green for the trolls. The troll armor pieces come in brown and gray, while the Lego man pieces are silver and blue. The knights get a silver helmet. The trolls wear black headgear. The small spears are for the knights, and the wooden swords are for trolls. Set aside the bigger pieces to create a large troll.

    • 3

Fit together the larger pieces for the troll monster who becomes the wagon puller. His pieces are a brighter green color with a fishjaw mouth, a helmet and armor with white spikes, fist-like hands and large feet. Fit the two blue pieces in the sides of his shoulders before mounting his arm pieces.

    • 4

Piece together the long bait stick used by the troll warrior to taunt the troll monster into pulling the cart. This piece starts with a long gray stick with a handle. Fit the handle into the small light gray piece with a ribbed middle. The black bait holder fits onto to the top of light gray piece. Stick the piece of meat through the bait holder hole, then pop on the small, circular knob on top of the bait holder.

    • 5

Assemble the knight's wagon. Start with a long flat brown rectangle Lego. Add the square flat brown Lego, then the two dark gray pieces, one of which is short with two prongs and a long rectangle piece with prongs on either end. Add the light gray wagon topper on top of the dark gray pieces, then add on the light gray Lego piece with a tube on both side. The tubes hold the carrying sticks that the knight uses to pull the wagon. Fit the long gray sticks into the tubes.

    • 6

Pop the two brown wagon wheels onto the prongs of the dark gray piece on the knight's wagon. Find the long brown stick, blue and orange flags, light gray sword and cross bow Lego pieces. Fit the sword's handle into the prong at the back of the wagon from the dark gray piece. Stick the long brown flag holder into the prong on the left. Slide the orange flag on first, then the blue flag. Fit the crossbow into the middle of the gray wagon topper. Clip your knight Lego's hands onto the wagon carrier sticks and push the back gently with your finger to move the wheels around.

    • 7

Find two long dark gray pieces with multiple fittings on every side. Set these pieces parallel to one another. Find the two square brown pieces to fit evenly across the two dark gray pieces. Once you fit the brown pieces, you should have a long rectangle base for the troll's wagon. Locate the two small black connector pieces. These stick into the last holes on the long dark gray pieces. Find the holes on the side. Once finished, your wagon base now has one end with one connector on the outside for left and right side of the wagon.

    • 8

Fit the light gray piece with four holes on top onto a matching brown piece with eight fittings on top. Locate the dark gray rectangle with the center missing. Push the hollow dark piece down onto the brown piece holding the gray piece. Flip these three pieces over and push the small two-prong red piece down onto the side opposite the brown piece into the dark gray Lego.

    • 9

Turn over the four part Lego piece with the small red rectangle. Fit a small four prong brown square on top of the light gray Lego and dark gray Lego. Locate two Legos with rounded tops and four prongs. Push the first rounded red Lego down onto the brown square with the rounded end facing the opposite direction of the red piece on the bottom. Fit the second rounded piece the same way on to the first red round piece.

    • 10

Push one skinny, dark gray Lego with four prongs on top and smooth sides down on the right side of the rounded red top pieces. Find the second dark gray Lego and fit to the left side of the rounded red Lego pieces. Push a small red two-prong piece down in between these two dark gray pieces.

    • 11

Push an eight-prong flat, brown rectangle piece across the rounded red rectangle pieces. A skinnier version of this flat brown piece needs to fit on the other end across the twin dark gray pieces on either side of the red rounded toppers. For a better look, consult the manual's diagram.

    • 12

Find four one-prong rectangle pieces. Fit side by side lengthwise onto the larger brown rectangle on top. Fit the two other pieces the same way to the single thin rectangle on the back. Once finished, you have parallel red one-prong Legos on top. Now, find two three-prong dark gray pieces. Turn these pieces to 90 degree angles on top of the red parallel Legos on top. Fit across the two lines of red pieces.

    • 13

Assemble the rest of the troll wagon. Find two more three-prong dark gray pieces. Push them inside one another, fit onto the prongs of the dark pieces on top. Find a brown three-prong rectangle piece with no prongs or holes on the other side, fit on top of the two gray pieces pushed together. Find a one-prong brown square and fit onto the end. Attach the two light gray triangular one-prong pieces behind the tower you just made with these pieces. See the diagram if you have trouble locating the right part.

    • 14

Find the dark gray troll assault wagon arm. Fit the two blue tubes into the ends, the two-prong gray piece on one side with the yellow tube sticking out of one end. Clip the arm onto the tower that you constructed in the last few steps on either the right or left side. Push this entire piece on top of the wagon base. This piece goes on the end opposite of the two black tubes on the bottom. Attach the two arms to one end of the wagon. Fix the dark gray seat into the hole of the rounded red toppers that you attached earlier. Push the two dark gray flag holders into the top of the wagon topper. Insert the flat sticks into the tubes, then add the skeleton flag.

    • 15

Assemble the battle shield. Start with the two light gray pieces with hexagonal sides that look cut in half. Crisscross a pair of brown Legos, attaching at the center and then connecting across the two light gray shield pieces. Stick onto the battle wagon's front pieces. Attach the two chains by the round prongs to either side of the wagon base's front. Roll out the white spikes, fit each end onto the side of the wagon base's front. Add on the monster wheels to the wagon's four corners. Attach the troll carrier monster to the chains on his wrist cuffs.
