How to Feed Pleo

Pleo is a lifelike interactive robot toy dinosaur manufactured by Ugobe Labs. Pleo has a camera built in its nose so it can recognize your movements. The toy also has a complex multiprocessor that holds its artificial intelligence and complex internal motors that produces realistic movements. It has a sense of time from a clock inside its artificial intelligence. The toy recognizes the time of day and stomps its front leg and opens its mouth wide to let you know it is hungry. It only takes a few minutes to learn how to feed Pleo.

     Place the rubber green leaf that came with Pleo 1 inch in front of the camera located above the toy's nose. The toy will move its head towards the leaf and make two sniffing sounds signaling you to insert the leaf into its mouth.

     Insert the green leaf into the toy's mouth. Wait for the toy to grab and bite down on the leaf before removing your hand. The toy releases the leaf after the eating simulation.

     Pick up the leaf and hold it up to the toy's nose again to repeat the eating simulation.
