How to Assemble the NERF VULCAN EBF-25

NERF makes many different types of toys, including the NERF N-STRIKE VULCAN EBF-25, a tripod-mounted blaster that fires foam darts in rapid succession. It does require some assembly and putting together the VULCAN EBF-25 takes between 10 and 20 minutes. Fortunately, assembly takes just one tool and a few batteries to get the blaster firing away.

Things You'll Need

  • 6 D batteries
  • Phillips-head screwdriver

Instructions

    • 1

Turn the blaster over so the handle of the VULCAN EBF-25 is pointing upward. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw on the battery door, which is just in front of the trigger. Take off the battery cover, and then take out the battery tray. Fill up the battery tray with the six D batteries, and then reinstall the tray and cover using the Phillips screwdriver. Flip the VULCAN EBF-25 back to an upright position.

    • 2

Place the barrel tip into the end of the blaster so that the end of it clicks into the body of the VULCAN EBF-25. Locate the two handle holes in the middle of the gun, and then snap into place.

    • 3

Locate the bolt mechanism, which is the horizontal slot located in front of the trigger handle. Slide one half of the bolt through the slot, and then plug the other side of the bolt into the pin on the other half of the slot.

    • 4

Unfold the tripod so the short leg is pointing towards the front of the VULCAN EBF-25. Push down the VULCAN EBF-25 into the tripod, locking the tripod into the slot located in the center of the blaster.

    • 5

Lift up the breech cover located just behind the handle on the gun using your hands. Slide the ammo box into the left side of the blaster, when looking at it with the barrel pointed away from you. Place the darts into the ammo belt.

    • 6

Open the cover on the ammo box. Put the darts into the ammo box by looping them in an "S" pattern with the open end of the dart holders pointing towards the barrel.

    • 7

Put the dummy cartridge from the kit into the groove under the breech cover. Close both the breech cover lid and the ammo cover.

    • 8

Slide the bolt back towards the trigger to load a single shot into the chamber. Pull the trigger and fire a single dart. Flip the switch to ON located above the trigger and activate full-auto mode. Pull the trigger to rapid-fire the darts.
