How to Create Your Own Virtual Furby

A Furby is an owl-like, furry virtual pet that was introduced to the market by Tiger Electronics in 1998. Furbies were technically fur-covered computers with learning capacities. The more a child interacted with the toy, the greater its learning capacities would grow. Furbies spoke their own language, Furbish, and would learn new words by interacting with other Furbies and children. They came in a variety of colors and patterns. They were so popular that obtaining a Furby was difficult, resulting in the creation of several websites dedicated to creating and sharing virtual Furbies. A virtual Furby was intended to mimic the characteristics of a real Furby.
