How to Clean a Bubble Blower

Bubble blowers are fun and entertaining for kids of all ages. They can be very simple, such as just a wand with a ring on one end, or they can be more complicated, designed to produce thousands of bubbles per hour. The high-volume bubble blowers either plug in to AC current or use battery power. The cleaning requirements for all the different types are simple and easily managed.

Instructions

    • 1

Dip wand-type bubble blowers in clean, warm water. Swish the wand around in the water to remove any bubble residue. Rub the blower gently, if necessary, to remove any sticky or soapy residue. Remove the wand from the water and dry it.

    • 2

Pour clean water through straw- or pipe-type bubble blowers to remove any residue from the inside. Blow water through the blower until it comes out clean. Rinse the outside of the blower in clean water. Wipe it dry.

    • 3

Remove the bubble solution chamber from bubble blowers where the tank is removable. Rinse it well, inside and out. Feel the surface of the tank to make sure it doesn't feel slippery. Dry and replace the chamber in the bubble machine.

    • 4

Fill the chamber with water. Run the bubble machine for a few minutes. Don't allow the water to run down the outside of the machine; wipe away any water that comes out while you are running the machine.

    • 5

Dump any remaining water. Remove and dry the bubble solution chamber and return it to its place in the bubble blower.

    • 6

Spray the outside of the bubble blowing machine with a gentle cleaning solution. Wipe it thoroughly to remove any dirt or fingerprints from the outside.
