How to Identify Playskool Dollhouse Figures

Playskool is an American company, a subsidiary of the acclaimed Hasbro Company, and focuses on specialized toys for children between the ages of 3 to 6. The goal of the company is to help toddler-aged children develop proper learning and play skills and improve their gross motor skills with entertaining playthings. The Playskool Dollhouse figures and sets make up just one of the Playskool toy lines, and there are certain defining features which set these figures apart from others.

Instructions

    • 1

Look at the faces of the figures. The Playskool Dollhouse figures have quite intricately detailed facial features compared to similar doll figures on the market at that time --- the Playskool Dollhouse figures and sets reached their peak of popularity in the early 1990s --- complete with eyes, eyebrows, nose and mouth.

    • 2

Look at the bodies of the figures. They have straight bodies with movable arm and leg joints and wear colored clothing.

    • 3

Look for the "Hasbro" marking, which is located somewhere on each Playskool Dollhouse figure. For a complete listing of all figures in the set, please see the Resources section of this article.
