Easy Bake Oven & Snack Center Instructions

Hasbro's Easy-Bake Oven and Snack Center is a play oven that can produce real cakes, pizzas and other baked goods. The first Easy-Bake oven in 1963 was turquoise and white and came in a square shape with a fake stove top. The original oven also featured a carrying handle. The oven underwent various changes, and, by 2007, it resembled a microwave oven. Each Easy-Bake Oven and Snack Center kit comes with the oven, a pan tool and small round pans.

  Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws on the back door of the oven. Screw the light bulb in the socket on this door, then replace the door and the screws. Place the oven on a level surface.

  Plug in the Easy-Bake oven to turn it on. Allow it to preheat for 15 minutes before using it.

  Pour the baking good mixture in a separate bowl. Mix it with water and pour it into one of the provided pans. See the directions on the package for specific instructions for each recipe.

  Use the pan tool to place the pan in the baking slot. Use the pusher end of the pan tool to push the pan into the oven until the metal doors close. Cook the food for the recommended period of time for that recipe.

  Push the pan to the cooling tray with the pusher end of the pan tool. Use the holder end of the tool to remove the pan from the cooling tray at the end of the recommended time.

  Unplug the oven. Wipe the unplugged oven off with a damp dish towel and let it cool before moving it.
