Things You'll Need
Instructions
Open up the ball with lights that are not flashing by using a small jeweler's screwdriver to undo the two screws that hold it together. Loosen the screws by turning in a counter-clockwise motion.
Use your small screwdriver to gently bend the tab that holds the battery in place. Bend it just enough to remove the battery and use your screwdriver to push it out of the compartment. Do not apply a lot of pressure as it could cause the tab to break off. Each battery is held into place independently so you will need to do this step three times per ball.
Place your brand new battery into the compartment and use your thumb to place the holding tab back into its original position. If for some reason, the battery moves slightly in its compartment you can use aluminum foil as a shim to create a tight fit to make sure that battery connectivity is optimized.
Place the electronic piece back into the plastic casing and ensure that the rubber power button is over the connecting piece. Tighten the case by inserting the screws into their original place and twisting the screws in a clockwise motion using your small jeweler's screw driver.
