Things You'll Need
Instructions
Place one eight-stud blue Lego on either end of the 12-stud Lego plank. Then, place one six-stud blue Lego on the interior-most six-studs of the each of the eight-stud blue Legos.
Add one six-stud red Lego on top of the four interior-most studs of each six-stud blue Lego. Then, place one 16-stud red Lego to completely cover both six-stud red Legos. This 16-stud red Lego should now create a "bridge-like" appearance on your model. Next, place a 12-stud red Lego on the middle 12-studs of the previous placed red Lego.
Place a six-stud yellow Lego on the exterior-most two-studs of the 16-stud red Lego. Then, attach a four-stud yellow Lego on the top and bottom exterior-most four studs of the six-stud yellow Lego.
Add a two-stud blue, two-stud red and a two-stud yellow Lego (in that order), on top of the available, interior four studs of the six-stud yellow Lego. Repeat on the opposite side and then place an eight-stud red Lego in the middle.
Cover the four-stud yellow, two-stud blue and two-stud red Legos with an eight-stud blue Lego (on both sides) and place an eight-stud red Lego in between. You've now completed Super Mario's arms, legs and overalls.
Place a four-stud blue Lego on the interior-most four studs of the blue Lego underneath. Then, place a two-stud red Lego atop the two-stud red Lego underneath and a six-stud blue Lego directly next to it.
Begin Super Mario's head by placing a 14-stud yellow Lego, covering all the studs below except the left-most two studs of the four-stud blue Lego. Place an eight-stud yellow Lego on the left-most eight-studs of the 14-stud yellow Lego bellow. Working left to right, place a four-stud blue Lego, six-stud yellow Lego, two-stud blue Lego and six-stud yellow Lego. The right-most two studs of the six-stud yellow Lego will hang over the eight-stud blue Lego below.
Place an eight-stud blue Lego next to the eight-stud yellow Lego. The eight-stud blue Lego will hang over the last two studs of the 14-stud yellow Lego.
Add a two-stud blue Lego, six-stud yellow Lego, two-stud blue Lego and six-stud yellow Lego (working left to right). You should now be able to make out Super Mario's side burns, mustache and nose.
Place four of the six studs of a six-stud blue Lego on top of the left two-stud blue Lego and the left-most two studs of the six-stud yellow Lego. The left-most two studs of the six-stud blue Lego will hang over the left edge. Attach a two-stud yellow Lego beneath the overhanging six-stud blue Lego. Add a second two-stud yellow Lego directly beneath the first.
Attach a four-stud blue Lego beneath the second two-stud yellow Lego. Two studs of the four-stud blue Lego will stick out to the left; atop those two studs, attach two two-stud blue Legos, one on top of the other. To the right of the six-stud blue Lego that is on top of Super Mario's "sideburn," place a four-stud yellow Lego. To the right of the four-stud yellow Lego, place a two-stud blue Lego and then a two-stud yellow Lego.
Place the 18-stud red Lego on top of the available studs. Four of the 18-studs should hang off the right side, creating the bill of Super Mario's hat. Finally, beginning on the second row of studs on the 18-stud red Lego, place a 10-stud red Lego to create the top of Super Mario's hat.
