How to Make Glow Hats Made With Glow Sticks

Glow sticks are a fun toy for kids and adults alike, but there is no need to be satisfied with just the stick to wave around or wear like a bracelet. Using special connectors found in a glow stick cap kit, you can now take ordinary glow sticks and turn them into a wearable baseball hat. There are four types of connectors needed: a 6-point sun-shaped connector, T connectors, double connectors and regular straight connectors. The hat takes only a couple of minutes to put together and is big enough to fit most heads.

14 glow sticks
10 assorted connectors

Instructions

  Crack the glow sticks and shake them to activate the glowing.

  Attach six glow sticks to the points on the sun connector. At the other end of each stick, attach the middle point of a T connector.

  Connect glow sticks between each T connector to form a ring that becomes the base of the hat.

  Slide a double connector onto two of these sticks before joining them to the T connector, leaving one section between them. This will allow you to attach the brim of the hat.

  Attach two glow sticks together using a regular straight connector. Put each end of this double stick into one of the double connectors. This forms the brim of your hat.
