How to Work Spy Gear Lazer Tripwire

The Spy Gear Lazer Tripwire is a toy made for budding double agents by the company Wild Planet. Using infrared light beams (not actual lasers), you will be able to set up a perimeter around whatever area you want to monitor. If the perimeter is breached, an alarm will sound. The setup and use of the Spy Gear Lazer Tripwire is easy.

Instructions

  Install two AAA batteries in each of the three Lazer units. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screw located on the end of the clamp side of the unit. Pop off the cover and insert the batteries. Put the cover back on.

  Set up your perimeter. Clamp each unit onto a shelf or other sturdy surface. Make sure there are no obstructions between each unit.

  Press the power button atop each unit to turn each unit on.

  Adjust the sensitivity switch on each unit. On the opposite side from the power switch, there is a switch for daytime (signified by a picture of a sun) and nighttime (signified by a moon).

  Align each unit's sender with another unit's receptor. The sender is the longer of the two adjustable appendages; the receptor is the shorter. The three units should form a triangle of invisible beams when completed.

  Align the final sender to the final receptor to set the perimeter. When the final beam is connected, a voice will announce "System Armed."

  Fill the included spray mister with water. Spray the area between a sender and receptor with the included spray mister to see exactly where the infrared beam is.
