How to Customize a Tech Deck Finger Board

Replace the graphics on your board. The underside of the board is covered in a sticker, which is usually colorful and may have logos printed on it. If you’re looking for an update, add some stickers. There are kits available by Tech Deck that include these types of stickers, but you can use any sticker you want.

Change your wheels. Tech Deck offers wheels in several colors. Choose a new color for all of your wheels or use different colors on each truck (set of two wheels). To remove the wheels, unscrew the trucks with your Tech Deck tool. The screw is at the center of each truck. Replace the trucks with new ones that have different colored wheels.

Change your grip tape color. Tech Deck does not sell grip tape separately from the fingerboards, but you can use real skateboard grip tape. To do this, remove the grip tape from your Tech Deck carefully so it does not rip. Lay it over a sheet of grip tape and trace the outline with a pencil. Cut it out with scissors and apply it to your deck.
