How to Fold a Play Hut

Playhuts are small pop-up tents intended for small children. If you have a Playhut or similar structure for your toddler, you might want to put it up in storage occasionally if you need the space. Playhuts are designed to be easily assembled and taken down so it shouldn't take but a few minutes to fold the Playhut to make it ready for storage.

Instructions

  Remove any poles from the Playhut by opening the Velcro pockets and sliding out the poles.

  Place one hand on one end of the Playhut structure and the other hand on the opposite end of the Playhut and pull the sides together. The Playhut should be almost flat now.

  Match up the sides of the Playhut evenly with each other before continuing to fold it. Make any needed adjustments.

  Hold the Playhut upright with one hand on each top corner, and place your foot on the bottom of the Playhut to help hold the structure in place.

  Bend the sides of the Playhut vertically so your hands meet. The folded Playhut will now resemble a taco shell shape.

  Continue folding by pulling the end of the Playhut that is in your left hand underneath your right hand. Twist your thumbs in to fold the Playhut into three loops.

  Bring the three loops of the Playhut together to finish folding and place the folded Playhut and any poles in storage.
