Instructions

    • 1

Use scissors to cut two 1-inch-wide strips from the sheet of construction paper. Make one of the strips 6 inches long, and the other 9 inches long.

    • 2

Make a loop out of the 6-inch paper strip and secure the ends with a tiny piece of clear tape. Repeat using the 9-inch strip.

    • 3

Attach each of the loops to the ends of the drinking straw with a paper clip.

    • 4

Set the paper glider on a flat surface and examine the positions of the loops. They should be standing up parallel to each other, resembling a gun barrel's sights.

    • 5

Take the glider outside and point the small loop out in front. Gently sail the glider forward and upward. It should soar nicely.
