How to Knit a Play Ball

Small play balls are handy and simple little toys perfect for small children and pets. Knitting them is easy and a great way to use up your scrap yarn. For this color wedge ball you’ll be knitting 10 separate wedges in 2 different bright colors. Once you have your wedges completed, you simply sew them together and stuff! Add catnip for fun little cat toys for beloved pets, or a small ball with a bell inside can be included in the middle to add a little something extra for kids and pets. Once you get the hang of the balls you can use different colors, and different weight and textured yarn for variety!
