Instructions

    • 1

Reassure your child and tell him or her that you know a very neat trick to get the balloon back.

    • 2

Get a second helium balloon and attach a long ribbon or string to it.

    • 3

Find a roll of transparent tape and pull off about six inches. Attach the ends to each other, which will form a circle with the sticky side of the tape on the outside.

    • 4

Attach the circle of tape to the top of your balloon.

    • 5

While holding onto the ribbon or string, slowly allow you balloon to rise toward the ceiling and your child's balloon. Maneuver your balloon so the tape touches your child's balloon.

With the balloon stuck together, pull them both down from the ceiling. Carefully detach your child's balloon from yours and present it to your amazed and happy child.
