How to Select Coloring Pictures for Preschoolers

Browse the selection of coloring pictures for preschoolers from Edupics, a website designed for the use of teachers and parents and dedicated to providing free artwork for young children (see Resources below).

Select a category from which to select coloring pictures. There are currently 145 categories and more than 2,000 pictures to choose from.

Click on the category to open the page that contains pictures relevant to that topic.

View the available pictures for this category. To view the full-size picture, simply click on it.

Select the "Print" button under the picture to send a print command to your printer.

Click on the "Download" button under the picture to save a copy to your computer and print it later. If you use this method, you might want to create a special folder to store these pictures in prior to saving them.

Note that there is a third button a little further down under the picture you've selected. This will launch an online drawing tool. It won't let you work with the picture you had in mind, but it does provide some samples of standard clip art that can be changed or expanded on with line drawing tools and a color palate. This in itself can help to build necessary skills and is appropriate for preschoolers.
