How to Make Animals Using LEGO Bricks

LEGO bricks are small colored blocks that come in different shapes and sizes. Every LEGO brick can connect to any other LEGO brick, creating endless construction possibilities. Instructions

  1. Penguin

    • 1

Stack the two white bricks on top of each other and push them together so they connect.

    • 2

Connect two 2x1 bricks to the bottom left and right edges of the flat 2x4 brick so that a 2x2 gap is created between the 2x1 bricks.

    • 3

Put the stack of white 2x2 bricks underneath the flat 2x4 brick so that it fits into the 2x2 gap.

    • 4

Attach the yellow trapezoid brick to the first row of the center of the flat 2x4 brick. Half of the yellow brick will extrude out from the rest of your stack.

    • 5

Take the remaining 2x1 black brick and place it directly behind the yellow trapezoid brick so that it attaches to the back row of the flat 2x4 brick.

    • 6

Connect the 2x2 flat brick to the very top of the stack where the yellow trapezoid brick and the 2x1 black brick meet to complete your penguin.

    Swan

    • 7

Take one of the white trapezoid brick and the upside down trapezoid brick, place them back to back, and put the white flat brick on top of them.

    • 8

Stack the two 2x1 bricks on top of each other, then place the small stack underneath the orange flat brick connected to the leftmost edge.

    • 9

Place the other white trapezoid brick on top of the orange flat brick's leftmost edge so that the orange flat brick sticks out, resembling a beak.

    • 10

Connect the stack of bricks with the beak to the top of the white flat brick so that it sits directly below the upside down trapezoid brick and your swan is finished.

    Horse

    • 11

Put the brown upside down trapezoid brick and a brown trapezoid brick back to back, and then put the trapezoid brick on top of the upside down trapezoid brick. Set that piece aside.

    • 12

Connect the front edge of a white trapezoid brick to the top of another white trapezoid brick and then place a brown 2x1 brick below the top white trapezoid brick.

    • 13

Place the brown trapezoid stack and the white trapezoid stack back to back, then put a 2x2 flat brick on top of them so they connect together.

    • 14

Put the brown 2x4 brick underneath the large stack you just created so that it only connects with the white trapezoid brick and the brown 2x1 brick. There will only be a portion of the brown 2x4 brick left sticking out from the rest of the stack.

    • 15

Connect the other brown upside down trapezoid brick to the bottom portion of the brown 2x4 brick that was left sticking out. Make sure the upside down trapezoid is reversed so the back of the piece sticks out from under the brown 2x4 brick.

    • 16

Take one brown 2x1 brick and connect it to the top of the upside down trapezoid brick so that the 2x1 brick is back to back with the brown 2x4 brick you connected earlier. Then connect another brown 2x1 brick to the bottom of that upside down trapezoid brick.

    • 17

Stack two brown 2x1 bricks on top of each other and place the small stack underneath the brown upside down trapezoid brick on the opposite side of the horse.

    • 18

Place two white 2x1 bricks on top of each other, then connect the white flat 2x2 brick on top of that small stack. Connect the part of the white flat brick that hangs off the stack to the brown 2x1 brick that is back to back with the brown 2x4 brick to finish your horse.
