Things You'll Need
Instructions
Build the feet of your yellow Lego man by making a foot shape out of blocks, one block high. Stick these to a Lego base board, if you have one. The size of this foot is limited only by the amount of Lego you have and how big you want your Lego man to be. Use the ends of the blocks to create a curve at the front and back for the toes and heel or make rectangular feet.
Build the feet bases up to the desired size of your feet. Make a curve in the foot shape by adding fewer blocks to the other sections and more towards the middle. Ensure you leave the back halves of the feet flat so that you can add legs.
Build up the legs of your Lego man, adding blocks straight upwards like a skyscraper. You can stagger the blocks around the outside to create a more cylindrical shape, if you wish. Lay one layer of blocks horizontally, followed by the next layer vertically to build a stronger structure.
Build a small bridge of blocks between the two legs. Build upwards from this point to give your Lego man a torso. You can either use a simple rectangle shape or have the outer blocks staggered to create a rounder shape. Alternate vertically and horizontally aligned blocks to add strength.
Build shoulder shapes outwards at the top of the torso. Ensure these are constructed firmly; at least a few blocks thick, so they can hold the weight of the arms. Build downwards from the shoulder shape to make arms. Make a rectangular or cylindrical arm on either side, stretching down from the shoulders.
Build a head on top of the Lego man̵7;s torso. Remember that heads are roughly egg-shaped. You can make circular edges by staggering the edges of the blocks. Finish one column of blocks, and then make the one to the left of it one block shorter or one block longer, so that the final block̵7;s center or end is at the middle point of the other block, staggered in the same way as bricks in a wall.
