Instructions
Lay your nine leaf pieces out on your working surface. The leaf pieces are roughly triangular in shape. There are three points that stick out; two close together at the bottom of the leaf and one farther away on the top of the triangular leaf.
Connect six of the leaves together in pairs. Join the bottom of the leaves (where two points of the triangle are close together and at the same height) together. Place the one leaf over the other and press them together.
Lay the three pairs out so that they form a triangle. Place the rounded tips of each pair together in the middle and arrange them so they're spread out evenly. This is your basic snowflake. Each of the leaves has one rounded tip attached to the central trunk. There are two angled "leaves" attached to the truck after that and then two leaves that stick out at a 90-degree angle to the trunk.
Take one of the remaining three leaves and attach its bottom (where two points of the triangle are close together and at the same height) to one of the straight branches that comes out at a 90-degree angle to the trunk on one of the pairs of leaves. The straight branch must be the one closest to the center of the snowflake where the three rounded tips touch. Attach the other side of this new leaf to the 90-degree branch in the adjacent pair. Attach the other two leaves to the remaining pairs until everything is joined.
