LEGO Emperor's Ship Instructions

Assemble your mini-figures. For each, snap the torso piece onto the legs, then attach the head and hat. Attach the backpack to one of the figures before attaching the head.

Build the base of the ship. Working upward from the flat gray base pieces, use the red and black standard-thickness bricks provided to build up the bottom layer of the ship. Turn the ship over and attach the circular ̶0;feet̶1; to the bottom of the ship. Turn the ship over to continue construction.

Add bottom-level details. Attach the red and gray rudder to the back end of the ship. In the center of the ship, place the two barrels, and place jewel pieces inside of each. Top each barrel with a black lid.

Build up the body of the ship. Use the red bricks provided to build up the front and back ends of the ship. Stagger the brown double-circled pieces in the center portion of the ship to build up the walls of the ship. Top these pieces, as well as the rear section of the ship, with flat tan base pieces. Place the flat tan trap-door piece over the center section.

Build the deck of the ship. Using the black pieces provided, assemble the railing around the center section of the ship. Use the red pieces provided to build the front end of the ship up to the level of the deck. Add additional black bricks around the back end of the ship, and top these with another flat tan base piece. Top the front end of the ship with a flat tan base piece, followed by a layer of black pieces and a second tan base piece.

Add deck details. Add red railings on each end. Top the railing posts on the front end with black single-circle accent pieces. Top the front railing posts on the back end with black single-circle accent pieces and the rear railing posts with lanterns. At the front of the back end, add a hook piece, topped by the ship's steering wheel. On the front end, add a black slanted piece topped by a single-circle hook piece. Assemble the ship's double crossbow and attach it to the front deck using the turntable piece provided.

Add the sails. Assemble the sails and mast separately. Attach them to the back of the front deck. Top the mast with flags.

Place your mini-figures on the ship.
