Snap two red "L"-shaped blocks onto a flat rectangle to create a "U" shape. Add a two-peg block to fill in the "U" shape with a hole in the front of it. Place another flat white rectangle piece on top of the whole section.
Place a large "L"-shaped red brick on the right top of the piece with the long part along the back. Add another two-peg block with a hole in the front directly above your previous matching piece. Add another small "L"-shaped red brick to the left side, letting the long part stick over the side.
Add a red two-peg piece to the middle pegs of the back row. Add a one-peg downward sloped piece to the left of that block. Add a one-peg upward sloped block to the right side of that two-peg piece. Snap in a flat one-peg yellow brick under the downward slope. You have built the body and beginning of Santa's arms so far.
Snap two of the one-peg pieces with a downward slope back to back onto the front. The slopes will be on each side. Slide in two white round pegs into the holes in the red LEGO bricks in the front. Add a flat white rectangle vertically across the top of Santa's body. Two pegs should be sticking out from the back and two from the front. Add a flat white two-peg piece under the front white pegs that are sticking out. This is Santa's beard.
Snap on another one-peg downward slope on top of the upward slope on the right side. Add two small single peg white pieces on the left side on top of each other. Snap on a LEGO Santa face piece in the middle of his beard. Add a white two-peg downward sloped piece on top of the face with the slope facing the back. Add a single yellow peg flat piece on top of the right downward slope next to his face.
Add a flat white square to the top of Santa's head. Snap on a single peg black LEGO to the top of the arm on the right. This completes one hand. Add an upward sloped single red block to the left side next to the head with it facing forward. Add a two-peg red brick across the two right white pegs on the head. Add two single peg downward slopes to the left side with the slopes going to the left. This completes Santa's hat.
Add two black barrel pieces under Santa. Connect a two piece black LEGO to each of the barrels to make his feet.
Snap a flat gray square onto a two-peg gray upward sloped piece. Connect a gray downward slope piece on top of this. Add a final flat gray square to the top of the downward slope and snap it onto the left arm. This is Santa's sack of toys.
