Home and Furnishings
Use your Legos to recreate the furniture found in your home. A Lego plasma TV, grandfather clock, pool table or kitchen table are all options. Also, you have the option of building a complete miniature house, its furnishings and a pool. Homes can be as detailed as you like, with one, two or three floors, and appliances like the television, microwave and refrigerator.
Challenging Projects
For the daring or especially advanced Lego user, several projects can offer the challenge you might be seeking. One, a fire breathing dragon, incorporates a butane lighter to allow your dragon to spew real fire. Another allows for the re-creation of NASA's Curiosity Rover, as it appears on Mars. An eye-catching kaleidoscope is one option, as is the project recreating a highly detailed computer case.
Special Collections
Special Lego collections allow you to create a train station, horse stable, small car, hillside house, airport and doctor's clinic. For the more adventurous Lego enthusiast, try your hand at a shuttle expedition, passenger plane, tower bridge, police helicopter or medieval market village. Since these items are labeled by Lego as "Hard to Find," ordering the proper pieces is best done directly from the Lego site.
Commercial Franchises
Re-create scenes or characters from your favorite commercial franchise with themed Legos. Lego offers to sets under the Spongebob Squarepants, one which allows you to recreate the Krusty Krab restaurant, Mr. Krans safe, Bikini Bottom currency, and the Krabby Patty vehicle. The Harry Potter collection allows you to recreate the Knight Bus, Hogwarts Castle, a Quidditch match, the Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts Express, Hagrid's Hut, Diagon Alley and the freeing Dolby scene. Other franchise collections give you the opportunity to build The Star Wars Millennium Falcon, Luigi's Italian Place from Cars, The Fountain of Youth from Pirates of the Caribbean, Winnie the Pooh's House and a Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story.
