Things You'll Need
Instructions
Assemble your minifigures. The Rebel Scout Speeder comes with four rebel troopers. For each, snap the torso onto the legs. Then, attach the head, followed by the helmet. Snap the black visor in place on each helmet.
Begin to build the base of the speeder by attaching a one-by-two gray piece to the first black base piece. The cylindrical extension should be pointing outward. In front of this, place a flat white two-by-three piece, and on either side of these two pieces place a one-by-four gray piece with a smooth top. Over the front of the white piece, place a one-by-two black piece with a smooth top.
Build the sides of the base. On either side of the existing piece, place a gray piece, slanted on two sides, with a one-by-two bottom and a single-circle top. Behind this, place a single-circle brown piece with a slanted outer side, then a one-by-eight gray piece with a slanted outer side.
Extend the base. Place the second black base piece underneath the overhanging side pieces on the existing base. In front of this piece, place a gray base piece that narrows from six wide at the back to two wide at the front end.
Build up the front end. In front of the existing side pieces, place on the bottom a gray side piece six circles long, with two circles on top. Inside these, place a white piece (again, six circles long on the bottom) with two circles on top. Between these two pieces, place a gray piece with a two-by-six bottom and a two-by-two top. Each of these pieces should be slanted toward the front of the speeder.
Build up the speeder's walls. Over the back of the existing sides, place a one-by-four flat gray piece, followed by a single-circle gray piece with a hook extending off the side. In front of each of these, add a one-by-three flat gray piece, followed by an additional single-circle gray piece with a hook extending off the side. This is followed by a one-by-two brown grill piece. In front of (and connecting) these, place a gray base piece that narrows from six wide at the back to two wide at the front end.
Complete the underside of the speeder. Snap the four feet (the circular "stand" pieces) onto the bottom of the speeder base.
Add detail pieces. Snap the windscreen in place, and attach a gun to each of the hooks extending off the speeder's sides. Snap the gray engine piece onto the cylindrical extension at the rear of the speeder. Finally, place the rebel insignia sticker on the front of the speeder.
Construct the engine area. On one end of a flat, two-by-four gray base-style piece, place two tall, slanted gray pieces, with their narrow ends pointing up. Next to these, place the two tall black one-by-two "C" pieces; this, then, creates a hollow square. Next, add an additional set of tall, slanted gray pieces. Top all these with a second two-by-four gray base-style piece, topped with a two-by-two black piece that has a hollow circle on top and a gray circle inside. On the underside of your construction, add a gray circular piece to the extended sides of each of the tall gray pieces.
Add the engine area to the speeder. Snap this section into place on the speeder's back end, flush with the existing pieces built onto the original base. Place the rebel insignia stickers to the sides of this section.
Build the top laser cannon. Starting from the large gray circular base piece, add two white rectangular pieces that have a single-circle top. Next to these, place an antenna, and atop them, place the large black cannon. Onto the muzzle, place the white circular array and the green muzzle piece. Snap the cannon in place atop the engine area. This entire area can be removed and used separately.
