How to Dismantle a Jedi Starfighter Toy

The Jedi Starfighter Toy is a Lego brand toy for children based on the hit "Star Wars" movies, particularly Episode II, "Attack of the Clones." In that movie, Jedi fighter pilots are shown boarding their planes and pulling into spherical objects that seem to briefly charge the plane and then shoot it into hyperspace, or deep space, with a jolt of energy. The Lego Jedi Starfighter Toy attempts to replicate this aspect of the movie by giving children the blocks they need to build the spherical ring and fighter jet which can easily be attached and detached from the spherical ring.

Instructions

  Assemble the 589 pieces provided in the Lego Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring toy as laid out in the instructions included with the toy or online (see references).

  Fold in the retractable landing gear and make sure the cockpit is closed. Position the wings so they extend straight out with the tips folded in sharply toward the cockpit. Snap the bottom right and left of the wings into the starfighter holding frame within the spherical ring.

  Remove the starfighter from the hyperdrive booster ring by gently unsnapping it from the holding frame on the bottom right and left of the wings. Fold the wings out and pretend to fly the starfighter. Pretend to land the jet by setting down the retractable landing gear and opening the cockpit. Make the included minifig character climb out and engage in battle with enemy droids, if desired.
