Instructions for the LEGO Creation Forklift

Children around the world play with Legos. The building blocks and kits engage children and teach them both to build and follow instructions. Many adults still enjoy playing with Legos as well. The Lego forklift is a simple model, appropriate for young children. Unlike some of the more complex models, the 8441 Set has only 75 pieces. Nonetheless, when assembled, the forklift is a realistic and functional model.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your Lego kit and remove all of the pieces. Check your inventory with the instruction manual to make sure that you are not missing any pieces.

    • 2

Attach the technic axle joiner perpendicular double splitblack axle pieces together first, followed by the two black technic axles with notches. Attach a technic beam 2-by-4 liftarm bent 90 brick to the notched axles.

    • 3

Attach one of the yellow 2-by-4 technic liftarm bent 90 beams to the black technic liftarm bent 90 beam with a gray technic axle. Insert a black technic pin into the end of the yellow technic beam. Attach another black 2-by-4 technic liftarm bent 90 beam to the black technic pin you just inserted. Attach another yellow 2-by-4 technic beam, so that there is now one on each side of the black technic beam.

    • 4

Insert the four gray technic pins. These will become the attachments for the four wheels. Insert two black axles in the middle portion and attach the yellow technic angle connectors on either side. Now attach the two gray axles in the upper middle portion. Attach the black technic angle connectors on either side of these gray axles and stick the red circle plate so that it faces the front.

    • 5

Continue working from inside out, attaching the technic beams to the forklift. Insert the two long vertical black axles into the perpendicular black axle from Step 2. Insert the black pin into the top. Hook the rubber band around this pin on the top and the two black axles on the bottom. The rubber band is what allows the forklift to lift and lower as a functional machine. Now attach the four wheels as the finishing touch to your forklift.
