How to Build a LEGO Transformer Camaro

Lego is a construction building block toy. Most Lego pieces have a stud on the top and an equivalent depression on the bottom, allowing pieces to snap together. Because there are thousands of types of Lego pieces, you can form them together to make nearly anything you want, including a Lego Transformer Camaro. The AutoBot which transforms into a Camaro is named Bumblebee, and is a small Transformer that is yellow with black stripes. Expect the process of making the Transformer Bumblebee to take less than fifteen minutes for the beginning Lego builder and expert alike.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect a 2-by-3 yellow plate to two black 2-by-1 hinged plates. Connect the hinged plates to the bottom of the yellow plate so that the hinged plates hang off of the yellow plate. Hinged plates look like a 2-by-1 plate with little teeth at the end that connect to another 2-by-1 plate with little teeth.

    • 2

Connect two yellow 2-by-1 downward sloped brick to the studs visible on the hinged plates. These downward sloped bricks form the front of the Camaro and the feet of the little Bumblebee.

    • 3

Connect four yellow 1-by-1 two-studded bricks to the bottom of the black hinged plate where it is connected to the 2-by-3 yellow plate. The two-studded bricks have one stud on top and one stud on a horizontal side.

    • 4

Connect one round black 1-by-1 plate to the horizontal stud of each of the two-studded bricks. These round black plates form the wheels of your Camaro.

    • 5

Connect a yellow 2-by-1 handle-bar plate to the last visible depressions on the bottom of the 2-by-3 plate, right next to the two hinged plates. The handle-bar plate looks like a regular plate with a handle bar extending from one of its sides.

    • 6

Snap a yellow right-angle holder plate around the center of the handle bar. The right angle holder looks like a 1-by-1 plate with two pincher fingers extending at a right-angle from one side. Attach a black 1-by-1 round plate to the right-angle holder plate. This forms the head of the Bumblebee.

    • 7

Connect a 1-by-1 black holder plate to a yellow 1-by-1 holder plate. The holder plate, as opposed to the right-angle holder plate, has its pincher fingers extending from the side of the plate in line with the plate itself, rather than at a right angle to it. Rotate the holder plates so the fingers are extending in opposite directions. Repeat this process once more.

    • 8

Attach the black holder plate to one side of the handle bar. This forms the arm and hand of the Bumblebee. Repeat this process for the other arm.

    • 9

Stand your Bumblebee upright on the downward sloped brick. Extend the arms forward and raise the head. Lay the Bumblebee on its back so the wheels are touching the ground, lower the sloped brick to form the front of the Camaro, and rotate the arms and head downward. This is the transformed Camaro.
