LEGO has become a staple construction toy around the world. Various sets and kits, such as the Technic 8858, are available, or you can create your own original LEGO designs. This kit was part of a series of model cars developed by LEGO in the 1980's. These designs were innovative for their time as they were powered off of batteries. The 8858 LEGO set is complex to assembly and includes 240 LEGO pieces, however, as a model intended for children, it includes a detailed photo instruction booklet.
