LEGO Rock Instructions

Rocks are an essential detail for many LEGO situatinos. For example, in an outdoor scene, or to portray a compelling rugged terrain. Building LEGO rocks allows for a lot of personal creativity and originality. Rocks can be made small and numerous, or large and mountainous. A detailed backdrop will create a more realistic LEGO scene.

Things You'll Need

One 8 x 3 flat grey LEGO brick
Five 8 x 1 grey LEGO bricks
Four 2 x 1 grey LEGO brick
One 3 x 1 grey LEGO brick
Two 1 x 1 grey LEGO bricks
Two 6 x 1 grey LEGO bricks
Three 4 x 1 grey LEGO bricks

Instructions

- 1
  Attach the three grey 8 x 1 LEGO bricks to the flat 8 x 3 grey LEGO brick. Each step will continue working up in layers. Starting from the back of the second layer, attach two more 8 x 1 grey LEGO bricks. In the front row, starting at the left, leave one space, attach a grey 2 x 1 brick, leave one space, attach a grey 3 x 1 brick and leave the last space empty.

  Attach a grey 2 x 1 brick on top of the 2 x 1 brick in row two and attach a grey 1 x 1 brick on the top right of this brick. Attach a grey 3 x 1 brick on top of the 3 x 1 in row two and attach a grey 1 x 1 brick on the top in the middle of this brick.

  Attach two 6 x 1 grey bricks, starting at the back of layer four. Attach two 4 x 1 grey bricks, centered on the 6 x 1 bricks making layer five. Attach another 4 x 1 grey brick in the back row of layer six. Attach a 2 x 1 grey brick in frony of the 4 x 1 grey brick in layer six. Add a grey 2 x 1 brick on the top back top, centered in the middle.
