LEGO Dwarves' Mine Instructions

Remove the bricks from their pouches, if you have not already done so. Keep the bricks from each pouch separated.

Assemble the dwarf mini figures. For each, attach the torso and arm section to the legs, then attach the head and helmet. Provide each dwarf with a weapon.

Assemble the troll mini figure. Attach the head to the body, and attach the arms using the small blue cylinders. Attach his hands, as well as the spikes on his back. Place his club in his hand.

Build the dwarves' jewel carts. Build the base before building and attaching the moveable cart portion. Fill each with jewels.

Build the mine's tower. Using the pieces provided and working upwards from the large, flat, gray base, construct the tower. Don't forget the doors or the decorative axes and banners at the top of the tower!

Construct the mine's working wheel tower. Using the pieces provided and working upwards from two smaller flat gray bases, construct the working tower. The wheel should be at the top. Don't forget the ladders by which the dwarves access the wheel, and the hook and bucket with which the wheel raises and lowers heavy loads.

Attach the two towers to one another.

Assemble the catapult tower. Using the pieces provided and working upwards from a second set of smaller flat gray bases, build the tower on which the catapult sits. Don't forget the goblet, drumstick and barrel in the kitchen at the base of the tower. Construct the catapult and attach it to the top of the catapult tower. Place the large jeweled boulder in the catapult.

Connect the catapult tower to the mine's original tower.

Construct the cart tracks and chute. The cart tracks should extend outward in both directions from the mine's original tower, while the chute should extend up from the tracks, in front of the catapult tower. Construct and attach the mining arch over the tracks behind the mine's original tower. Connect the cable to the mining arch and the chute, with a basket attached to the cable.
