How to Build a LEGO V-Wing

Assemble your characters. For the imperial pilot, snap the black torso onto the black legs, then attach the head and helmet. Finally, snap in place the black blaster gun. For the R2 droid, snap the leg pieces onto each side of the body, then attach the "head."

Build the base of the ship. Using the pieces provided, build up the bottom portion of the ship, making sure to extend the entire length.

Build up the back end. Using the pieces provided, add layers to the back end of the ship. Be sure to include the axle for the wheels. Attach two wheels to one side of the back end, the larger wheel behind the smaller wheel.

Attach the engines to the back of the ship. There should be two back engines, each a black cylinder with a clear yellow end piece.

Attach the stickers, if you have not already. You should place the smaller circular sticker on the top of the back end, and the long rectangular sticker along the top of the front section.

Build the cockpit. Place the imperial pilot in the depressed seating area in front of the back end, then place the windshield over and in front of him.

Complete the bottom. Attach the white circular piece provided to the underside of the ship, in the center.

Add the rudders and wings. Using the pieces provided, assemble and attach the two rudders. Don't forget the rudder stickers. Assemble and attach the two wing assemblies. Again, don't forget the decorative stickers.

Place the R2 unit in the ship, between the two rudders.
