LEGO 6753 Highway Transport Instructions

Lego construction toys have experienced a huge resurgence in recent years, as adults who grew up with the brand introduce it to their own children. Lego building sets can be especially fun, as the owner has a set goal he is trying to meet. Lego set 6753, Highway Transport, is especially challenging, as it involves four distinct sections and is one of the larger sets. Still, with patience and perseverance, you too can soon have your own Lego transport truck.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your Lego pouches, if you have not already done so. Be sure to keep the Legos from each pouch separate.

    • 2

Build the red convertible car. Using the bricks provided, build up the base of the car. Don't forget to insert the steering wheel before building the sides and roof! Finally, add the black roof, windshield and wheels.

    • 3

Build the yellow cab of the transport truck. Using the bricks provided, construct the base of the cab itself and the flat portion directly behind (and connected to) the cab. Build up the sides and front of the cab, including the clear windshield piece. Then, attach the grey back portion of the cab, and finally the roof and six wheels. Don't forget the detail pieces: headlights, exhaust pipe, seating, steering wheel and grills.

    • 4

Build the grey sports car, with blue racing stripes. Using the bricks provided, build up the base of the car. As with the red convertible, don't forget to insert the steering wheel before building the sides and roof. Finally, add the black roof, windshield and wheels.

    • 5

Build the transport portion of the truck. Using the bricks provided, construct the truck's "storage" section -- the part used to transport smaller vehicles. Detail pieces for this portion of the set include ladders and ramps. Don't forget to include the red axle underneath -- it's used to attach this portion to the truck's cab. Finally, attach the four wheels at the rear.

    • 6

Attach the transport section to the cab of the truck, using the red axle piece.

    • 7

Play. You can now use your truck to transport your two newly-constructed Lego cars.
