How to Make Bats Out of LEGOs

LEGO bricks were invented in Denmark in 1932 by a man named Ole Kirk Christiansen. Since then, LEGO has become a trademark toy around the globe. LEGOs can be configured to create virtually any shape in any size or color. LEGO bats are quick and easy to put together. They are also a fun way to create your own decorations, for holidays or just for everyday.

Instructions

    • 1

Snap one of the black two-by-one bricks in the middle of the black three-by-two brick. Snap both yellow one-by-one bricks on the front half, on either side of the two-by-one black brick.

    • 2

Attach each black four-by-one brick to the back half, on both sides of the two-by-one black brick. They should be attached so that they point out horizontally. These will form the wings.

    • 3

Snap the other black three-by-two brick on top so that it lines up with the bottom three-by-two brick. On the left side of this brick, attach two of the slanted black one-by-one bricks so that their points meet in the middle. Repeat this on the right with two more black one-by-one slanted bricks. These are the ears of the bat.

    • 4

Attach a black two-by-two brick underneath the last space on the end of each wing. Attach two-by-one black bricks underneath the outside spaces of the previous two-by-two bricks.

    • 5

Attach the two-by-one black bricks on top of the two-by-two bricks, lining up horizonally with the yellow bricks. Attach your last two-by-two black bricks on top. Finish off your bat by attaching your last two two-by-one black bricks on the top ends of each wing.
