Instructions

    • 1

Assemble your characters. For each, you will need to attach the legs, torso, head, and hat. For the engineer, you will also need to snap his neckerchief into place between his head and torso.

    • 2

Assemble the base of the locomotive. Working from the large yellow base piece, you will need to attach the front and rear black railings and platforms, the arms for attaching the wheel array, the black wheel-array bars, and the green, orange, yellow, and black bricks comprising the bulk of the locomotive. Be sure to include the blue seat for the engineer.

    • 3

Construct the undercarriage using the black and grey blocks provided. Once assembled, attach the undercarriage to the bottom side of the large base piece.

    • 4

Construct the two wheel arrays using the wheels and the black and grey blocks provided. Once assembled, attach the wheel arrays on either side of the undercarriage.

    • 5

Construct the engineer's compartment using the orange and black blocks provided, including the orange doors and windows. Once completed, it can be attached to the main locomotive, surrounding the blue engineer's seat.

    • 6

Attach the details. Assemble and attach the three smokestacks on top of the locomotive. Don't forget the horn! Give each character his walkie-talkie.
