Things You'll Need
Instructions
Assemble Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi. For Luke, snap the white torso Lego into the tan legs with a white top. Then, snap his tan-colored hair onto his head. For Obi Wan, snap the tan torso Lego onto the tan legs. Then, snap his grey-colored hair onto his head. Obi Wan also comes with a light saber that can be snapped into his hand. It can be assembled by snapping the blue laser portion into the base.
Assemble the base of the speeder. Snap the long, light-grey Lego (one circle wide) onto the back end of the large, flat, tan rectangular base. Then, at each side of and directly in front of the light-grey Lego, snap a short dark-grey Lego (two circles long, with a circular hole), perpendicular to the long, light-grey Lego. In front of and perpendicular to these Legos, snap the long, tan Lego into place.
Add additional details to the speeder base. Snap the red Legos with the red cylindrical extension on the bottom into the circular holes on the dark-grey Legos already attached to the base. In front of the long, tan Lego, snap two red L-shaped legos into place on each side, with the thicker side down and the thinner side forming a wall extending up from the rectangular base. Extending forward from these pieces on each side, place a one-circle red block, followed by two two-circle-long grey blocks. Under the front circle of the grey blocks, attach one set of two rounded tan base pieces, to form the curved front of the speeder. You can then extend each side further forward with a two-circle curved grey block. Between these two, place a long rectangular dark-grey block (two circles wide by eight circles long), with its front end flush with the front of the speeder base.
Build the seating area and engines. Directly behind the last block added, snap two rows of the two flat red rectangular blocks with one circle in the center. These blocks should cover the entire width of the remaining exposed area of the speeder base. On the back end of the speeder, snap in place one of the smaller tan flat rectangular base pieces (four circles by six circles). On the curved front end of the speeder, top the assembled pieces with the second set of two rounded tan base pieces. Directly behind this piece, snap in the long, thin, flat tan piece (six circles long). Place the flat red rectangular piece (two circles by four circles) on the back end of the speeder, running lengthwise and centered. Snap one engine piece onto this piece, at the back. Snap the other two engine pieces onto the sides of the speeder, on top of the red blocks which were inserted, using their cylindrical attachments. Snap the two grey seats into the speeder on top of the flat red rectangular blocks with one circle in the center.
Assemble the windshield. Behind the long, thin, flat tan piece (six circles long), and directly in front of the seats, snap in place the second smaller tan flat rectangular base piece (four circles by six circles). On top of this piece (at the back), snap the clear plastic windshield into place. Directly in front of the windshield on one side, snap the three-lined vent piece into place.
Create your own design. The pieces provided can also be assembled in other configurations, at the whims of each child. Lego recommends a "fighter-style speeder," but there are many options.
