Villages and Cities
Lego toys can be utilized to build individual Lego houses, cars, roads and people. On a macro scale, Lego toys can be used to build entire villages and cities. A Lego city could even be a miniature replica of a real city with accurate depictions of city blocks, buildings and streetlights. A Lego city or village could include cars, specific shops, and high rises or be three dimensional, with building facades and interiors.
Oceans
Legos could be used to build a model of oceanscapes, including aquatic life or a coral reef. For a coral reef, the Legos could be built up to form the coral structure with fish, sea anemone, and other wildlife affixed to the Lego reef. Other animals could be anchored by being attached to Lego seaweed stalks, plumes of sand, or laid on a blue Lego mat to resemble the ocean. Other ocean scenes could be designed to show islands, the continental shelf, ship wrecks or deep sea vents.
Creatures
Legos can be manipulated to create creatures from both the fictional realm and reality. Animal designs can include walruses, sea otters and unicorns. Human designs can include busts of celebrities or whole standing structures resembling a person. Creature robots can also be designed using Legos. Many schools already offer robotics competitions based on the designs of Lego robots. Designing a Lego robot at home is as simple as finding the proper gears, parts, and wires needed to create a Lego robot that will really move. Lego robots can roll like a tank, move on wheels or scoot forward as though walking.
Design Back Drop
Legos can be used on a large scale to create a scenic backdrop. A Lego base grid would be needed to adhere the Lego blocks to so that it could be flipped on its side and propped against a wall. The Legos could be used to design nighttime cityscapes, a beach scene, a rocket taking off into outer space or a volcano exploding.
