    Building the Figures and Hull

    • 4

Navigate to page 3 of the instructions and separate each of the three numbered bags, making mental note of which part of the ship each bag contains the pieces for.

    • 5

Go to page 4 and open the "1" bag. Begin by assembling the three human figures by clipping the torso onto the legs, the head onto the torso and the helmet onto the head. For the Jedi's lightsaber, attach the green rod into the small piece shown in the diagram. Attach each arm of the droid into the side of its body and attach the green dome to the top. Set these pieces out of the way.

    • 6

Go to page 5 in the instructions and look for the sky blue box in the top left corner, above the "1." Look through the contents of Bag 1 until you find the one yellow piece and two longer black pieces indicated. Lay them out as illustrated in the guide.

    • 7

Look at the sky blue box directly under the first diagram for the next steps pieces. In this case, you'll need one yellow rectangle and four of the red triangular pieces indicated. Snap the four red pieces on top of the yellow and black ones as indicated in the illustration next to the number "2."

    • 8

Repeat the process and use the illustrations as a guide until you've built the entire hull of the ship. When finished, you should be on illustration 44, page 37.

    Buiding the Engines and Wings

    • 9

Use the same technique to build both engines from the contents of bag "2." The instructions begin on page 38. Attach the finished engines as shown in illustration 45, page 49.

    • 10

Attach the finished engines as shown in illustration 45, page 49. Open bag three and flip to page 50.

    • 11

Build the middle layer of the left wing and attach it to the engine as shown in illustration 46, page 57. Build the other wing's center layer in the same fashion and attach it as shown on page 65.

    • 12

Assemble the top layer for each wing using the pieces in page 66's sky blue box. Attach both wings as shown on page 67.

    • 13

Put the bottom layer of each wing together using the instructions on page 68. Flip the ARC-170 over and attach each bottom layer, as shown on page 69.
