How to Build a Ramp With Legos

A variety of Lego play sets include vehicles or skateboarders, along with special flat and angled blocks. You can combine these blocks in a special way to make a simple ramp to use when playing with toy cars and wheeled Lego pieces. The most basic ramp requires only eight pieces, but you can add additional blocks if you desire to raise or lengthen the ramp.

Things You'll Need

2 Lego ramp pieces, 6 by 8 units
1 Lego plate, 6 by 8 units
1 Lego plate, 4 by 8 units
4 Lego smooth plates, 1 by 8 units

Instructions

  Lay the 6-by-8 Lego plate on a flat surface with the bumpy side up and the short end facing you.

  Attach the 4-by-8 unit on top of the center section of the 6-by-8 plate, leaving a 1-by-8 row of free bumps on each side of the larger plate.

  Attach the 4 smooth plates to the top of the 4-by-8 plate with the short ends facing you.

  Attach a ramp piece to both free rows of the 6-by-8 plate.
