Gather the boat pieces together. They are packaged separately from the other items. Look for the boat label on the back.
Sort out the different-colored pieces. This will make the building easy to navigate and put together.
Take the two red LEGO pieces with four nubs and slide them together. Match them up so their flat sides touch each other. The pieces will not connect.
Place the black U-shaped piece over the top of the two red pieces so they line up. The top four nubs will connect together and hold the red pieces in place.
Slide the four, nub thin pieces horizontally up against the flat back of the original two red pieces. Use the white, six nub flat pieces to connect the third red piece and attach it to all the exposed red nubs.
Attach the rear wheel piece underneath the red base. Only connect the thin piece that sticks out of the rear wheel. Add the 4 inch by 4 inch red, thin block over the top of the rear wheel piece. Attach two, thin four nub red pieces to each edge that hangs over the large red piece.
Add the red and white hinge piece to the center four nub spots on the rear of the boat. Make sure the small hinge hangs off. Connect two six nub vertical pieces to the edges of the boat.
Flip the boat over. Attach the non-nub two hole white pieces to the center bottom of the rear wheel connection. Apply the red slanted piece to the front of the boat so it does not hang off and add the front wheel holder directly behind it.
Flip the boat back over and apply the four white pieces to the top. These pieces are identical to the previous black and red pieces, so match them up until the whole boat is covered.
Connect the curved gray engine to the back center above the red and white piece. Apple the black non-nub piece to the front center of the boat. Slip the blue cylinder shape into the back of the propeller. Attach the small gray connection to the blue piece and connect that to the red and white hinges.
Add the front and back wheels. The back wheels are double in size and will snap in further. Spin each wheel after it's attached to make sure they are connected well. Apply the two, clear, windshield pieces directly behind the black non-nub piece on the front of the boat.
Add the two decals to the front sides of the boat and the LEGO creation is complete. Place a character in the front seat and snap him in to use it.
