How to Build a LEGO Darth Vader Transformation

Take out and count all your pieces. There should be 53 pieces, including a Darth Vader and an Anankin Skywalker piece.

Start by creating Darth Vader. Attach the legs to the body and head. Then, place the the Darth Vader helmet on his head. After that, create Anakin Skywalker by doing the same as before but without the helmet.

Take the large flat gray piece and attach two six-dot lighter gray pieces. Set them parallel on consecutive rows one dot apart from the top left corner. Add a four-dot hinged piece to the end of the lower six-dot piece. Attach a smaller flat gray piece to side of the hinged piece that is hanging off your original base and also add three vent pieces to your original base. Put the vent pieces in each lower corner and one in the middle below the second six-dot piece.

Attach the two triangular red pieces on top of the two parallel pieces at the top of your base and attach a four-dot square yellow piece to the end of the flat gray piece attached to the hinged piece. Add a two-dot trapezoidal piece right below the top vent piece and two black two-dot piece right next to the corner vent pieces facing inward. Take the eight-dot flat gray piece with the plastic tips and insert those tips into the slots of the two-dot red rectangular pieces. Take the piece you have just created and affix it to the top of the two black pieces by the corner vents.

Take the gray four-dot conical piece and attach a flat lighter gray four-dot piece to the top. Slide the black pole through the hole in the conical piece and then slide the light gray dome piece on top of the four-dot lighter gray piece. Attach this new piece to the four-dot flat yellow piece.

Take the light gray cylindrical piece with the flat square bottom and attach two, two-dot yellow pieces with hinges to the sides. Attach an eight-dot flat gray piece in the middle of the cylindrical base in between the two hinged yellow pieces and then set an eight-dot gray block on top of that perpendicularly. Take the clear cylindrical four-dot piece and place it in the center of the eight-dot block. Flank this cylindrical piece with the two clear two-dot blocks on the ends of the eight-dot block. Place two more of the black two-dot pieces on top of that and then attack two two-dot light gray bracket pieces on top of that. Then, place a flat black cap on top of the brackets and pace Anakin and Vader on opposite sides of the cylindrical base. Attach the piece with Vader and Anakin affixed to it to the flat gray eight-dot piece withe plastic tips that leans back and forth.

Find the piece that looks like a a small gray raft with four dots in the middle and attach the five small yellow arms to the sides. Take the other small four-dot cylindrical piece and attach it to the four dots in the center of the raft piece. This should then slide down the pole and fit on top of the light gray dome. Find the two dark gray dome pieces and the red dome piece and then slide those pieces down the pole sandwiching the the red piece in between the two dark gray pieces. Place the tools in the arms. If done correctly, the piece with Anakin and Vader should rotate to create the illusion that a transformation has occurred.
