How to Use the Power Function Light for LEGOs

Lego Power Functions pieces let you turn your Lego projects into functional, moving creations. One of the Power Functions pieces is the light block, which has two LED lights attached to wires. You can connect these pieces to the Power Functions battery box and incorporate them into your Lego building. You can use them as the headlights on a car or stack more than one light block on each other and create atmospheric room lighting. There is no limit to what you can do with the Power Functions light.

Things You'll Need

Lego Power Functions battery box
6 AA batteries

Instructions

  Insert six AA batteries into the Lego Power Functions battery box.

  Plug the gray Lego block on the Power Functions light into the top of the battery box, beside the orange switch.

  Incorporate the battery box into your Lego project. Make sure you can still access the orange switch when you finish building. Connect the black block on the light to another part of the project.

  Push the orange switch on the battery box to the "On" position. A green LED light will turn on, as well as the LED lights on the Power Functions light.
