How to Make a LEGO Drum Set

A tiny band constructed from LEGO Minifigures may have a guitar and bass, but without a drum set, something is missing. Using basic pieces you already have in your bins, you can assemble a very quick and pleasant-looking LEGO drum set for your LEGO drummer to perform his greatest hits. After that, all you need is a pair of drumsticks to take your show on the road.

Things You'll Need

Antenna rods
Small reflector dishes
2-by-2-stud round bricks
Large reflector
2 yellow beam rods

Instructions

  Place the two antenna rods on your building surface a few studs apart. Four or five studs between them is a good distance.

  Place a reflector dish upside down on a rod. Place another dish right-side up on top of that to make the high-hat cymbal. Place the remaining dish on the other rod as the crash cymbal.

  Build a small brick base next to the two cymbals. Place the 2-by-2 round bricks on top of the base to form the snare drums.

  Use L-brackets or other bricks to place at the middle of the kit a large round reflector on the front of the drum set to look like the bass drum.

  Build a small seat. Place your drummer Minifigure in the seat.
