Things You'll Need
Instructions
Place the left and right narrow wing plates (3-studs by 12-studs) back to back, with the long ends facing each other. Place a 2-by-6-stud plate along the back to form the base of the ship.
Clip the pieces together by placing a 2-by-12-stud plate along the middle of the base, inset at front and back by 1-stud. This is the center beam which holds the ship together. Place 4-by-2-stud small wings on either side, so they are 1-stud from the rear of the craft.
Place 3-by-2-stud mini wings on either side of the craft so the straight side points forward, and the angled side touches the small wings already placed. Attach a second pair of small wings, again straight-edge forward, at the back of the ship, leaving a 2-stud gap between them.
Place the left and right 3-by-6 wing plates on the sides of the craft, with the long edges touching the center beam of the ship. Place two more 2-by-4 small wings at the front to continue the angle. You should have a roughly teardrop-shaped front on the vehicle.
Attach a telephone-shaped 2-by-2-stud brick at the back of the center beam. Place 1-by-4-stud plates on either side, so they connect the neighboring sets of small wing plates. Attach 3-by-3 wing plates, angle-side forward, on either side of these 1-by-4 pieces.
Attach a second set of narrow wings across the top of the entire model. These should be set 2-studs from the nose of the model, and lie long-edges facing each other on top of the center beam.
Place a 1-by-2-stud dark grey plate in front of the telephone brick. Put 1-by-6-stud flat plates on either side, over the 1-by-4 plates from earlier, so they line up with the back of the plates below. Attach 1-by-4-stud plates on either side of those, so they line up with the backs of the 3-by-3 wings below. Place red ventilation plates next to those on both sides.
Build a second teardrop-shaped section using a pair of mini wings (2-by-3-studs) at the back, 3-by-6-stud wings in the middle, and 2-by-4-stud small wing plates at the nose. There should be a 2-by-6-stud gap in the middle of the ship.
Place 1-by-4-stud flat plates at the back of the teardrop, so they line up with the flat plates on the layer below. next to those, at the back of the 3-by-6 wings, attach a yellow single stud plate.
Place 2 grey single studs on both 1-by-4 plates at the back of the ship. These should sit at the first and third stud on both plates. Attach a pair of binoculars to each piece, pointing toward the front of the ship at a 45-degree angle. These are the main gun turrets on the ship.
Span the gap at the front of the ship with a pair of 1-by-8-stud flat plates, in crimson. Put a red ventilation plate at the front of these two pieces.
Place two 3-by-2-stud plates side-by-side along the longer edge. Place a 1-by-1-stud plate centered along the back.
Attach a 2-by-1-stud angled brick at the back, to connect the 1-by-1 to the neighboring 2-by-3 plate. Continue the surface using a 1-by-4-stud brick. Place 1-by-1 plates with two side-mounted knobs on either side of the brick, offset 1-stud from the back.
Clip the unit to a third 1-by-3-stud plate. Attach 1-by-2 bricks with corrugated sides on either side of the brick, with the horizontal stripes facing outward. Place three 1-by-3-stud angled bricks at the front of this piece, the ship's bridge. The center angled brick will extend further than the two on the sides.
Attach a 1-by-4-stud flat plate along the center of the bridge, starting at the back. Place a 1-by-1 plate at the front of that, and a clear single-stud at the head of that.
Flip the bridge over and attach the 1-by-3 double-angled brick to the back of the model. Flip the piece over again.
Attach the bridge to the top of the body of the ship using the red telephone brick. The center-most brick on the bridge should just overlap the red plates.
Attach two L-clips to the back of the bridge, so the knob faces away. Build 4 engines using round 1-by-1 bricks and clear blue single-studs on top. Attach these to the rear-facing knobs at the back of the ship. They should nearly make a V-formation.
Place a 1-by-4-stud plate to cover the clear stud at the front of the bridge, and the piece behind it. Attach two 1-by-3-angled bricks on either side to extend the angle from the layer below.
Insert a grey beam sword piece into a Technic connector pin piece. Clip that into a 1-by-1-stud hook piece. Make two of these cannons and attach them at the top of the ship, on the angled bricks.
Flip the model upside down and attach the clear 1-by-2-stud round brick to the center of the model as a stand. Display the model on this stand. You can remove it for play.
