Instructions
Draw a rough sketch, or brainstorm some ideas for your vehicle. Decide whether you want to make a massive space cruiser or a smaller shuttle craft. Determine whether it will be a rocket, or a wide- or narrow-based vehicle.
Build the cockpit of the vehicle. This is typically on the top and front of the ship, although as the designer you can place it wherever you like. Often these are designed with a pointed and rounded shape, like the nose of a rocket ship.
Build back from the cockpit, adding the body of the craft. Build a living space or storage quarters, weapon storage or passenger seating, depending on the type of space craft you're making. Make the body according to your design ideas.
Attach any fins, weapons or wings to the side of the vehicle. Rods and antennae can be placed on their sides pointing forward to make very threatening-looking weapons, or scientific equipment. Reflector pieces look a lot like radar dishes.
Design and build an engine room and the back of the ship. Attach rocket boosters or anything designed to propel the ship forward.
Add Lego minifigures to your ship to act as pilot, co-pilot and crew. Build people who will add to your ship, and place them in your ship.
