Instructions

    • 1

Find all the System-X pieces, which are special installation pieces used by Playmobil. The System-X pieces are small, gray X-shaped pieces that connect the walls of the castle. Snap together the outer perimeter of the castle walls. Each wall should have a small section used for the System-X piece. Snap the two towers of even height onto the front outer perimeter of the wall. Use the two ropes of even length to tie the drawstring to the space between the front towers. Tie the ropes to the two small loops on the front of the castle and the drawbridge.

Snap the top of the roof on over the back of the castle walls and attach the three remaining towers of different heights over the medium-height connects on the left, the shortest connects in the middle and the tallest connects on the right side of the castle. Install small pieces by category starting with the doors. Match up the size of the doors to the correct open areas on the tower and within the castle. The largest door covers the dungeon. Snap on the red shingles in their appropriate places---the cone-shaped shingles cover the towers and the flat, rectangular pieces cover part of the inner castle.

Connect individual pieces such as the catapult, stairs, windows, water bucket and flags using the System-X snap pieces. The catapult connects on the left wall toward the front of the castle. The stairs connect under the tallest tower near the back of the castle. The water bucket connect inside the window of the medium tower in the back of the castle. The flags can be installed on top of the the towers by placing them inside the holes.

Snap the water underneath the drawbridge to the castle using the System-X snap pieces. Place the knights, queen and king inside the castle, and place rocks for the catapult near the wall to be ready for loading and rocks inside the hole above the trapdoor. When the trapdoor is opened, the rocks will be released onto an "invading enemy."
