Using LEGO's Building Instructions website
Install Adobe Acrobat Reader if you do not have it. The application is available for free from Adobe's website. It is required in order to read LEGO's online instructions.
Figure out the exact name of the kit for which you need building instructions. If you do not have the original box, use LEGO's website (listed below under Resources) to compare existing kits to the pieces in yours. Use unique identifying pieces and colors to determine the kit's name.
Use the Building Instructions search at LEGO.com to locate the instructions for your kit. Use a keyword from the name of the kit to search, or browse all "Star Wars" kits by selecting "Star Wars TM" from the "Select a Brand" dropdown menu.
Download the instructions by highlighting the name of the kit in the list and clicking "Download" when it appears below the list. A pdf file will download to your computer with the complete instructions for assembling your LEGO "Star Wars" set.
