Put a yellow plastic rod through the holes that sit at the upper portion of three of the orange connectors. Align the arrangement so that the orange connectors lie together in the rear portion of the yellow rod.
Place the yellow rod that you just used through the upper part of one of the silver connectors. If you look at your arrangement, you will see a single yellow rod with three orange connectors followed by the three silver pieces.
Put the yellow rod through the middle part of the red rectangle. Then, place a small green rod on each exterior portion of the red rectangle.
Insert three silver connectors (with the uncovered ends) onto the yellow plastic item. Put the final orange connector on the end of the yellow piece.
Place two more yellow rods on your creation. Put a yellow rod on each orange piece via both side connectors. The last two yellow rods that you just inserted need to sit beneath the yellow rods you installed earlier.
Click a silver piece to the exterior part of the first yellow rod with which you began. Ease the rubber band through the hole that the silver piece contains. Grab the sides of your rubber band and fasten it to the rear portion of both lower yellow pieces.
Get the rubber band gun ready to fire. Pull the silver connector back far enough for the yellow rod to clear the red rectangle. Gently nudge the colored rectangle so that it lies on its side long enough to stop the yellow rod from progressing ahead. Put a small green rod (fake bullets) in the upper part of the rubber band gun.
Figure out a safe place to test your toy gun such as an empty room. Aim at the wall and pull the colored rectangle back to its initial position so the yellow rod shoots ahead. If the rubber band shoots at the wall, you have a working toy rubber band gun.
